LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former cricketer Aaqib Javed has said that the war of words between Shahid Afridi and Javed Miandad harmed Pakistan’s cricket.
He expressed these views while commenting over the recent controversy that involved the two cricketers trading insults publicly.
Aaqib Javed was of the opinion that if Shahid Afridi had been involved in match-fixing, how come Javed Miandad forgive him.
Former chief executive of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Arif Ali Khan Abbasi commented that if Shahid Afridi wants to go to court against Javed Miandad, he should go for it. He also told that Javed Miandad exhibited greatness by forgiving Afridi.
Arif Abbasi expressed that Javed Miandad forgiveness for Shahid Afridi and the latter’s thanks over the matter has left some unanswered questions in fans’ minds.
