Pakistan's 12-member squad for first Test against England announced

Pakistan and England shall be facing each other in a Test match at Lord's after six years.

LONDON (Dunya News) – Pakistani squad that plays the first Test against England on Thursday at Lord’s cricket ground was announced on Wednesday, reported Dunya News.

Mohammad Hafeez and Shan Masood were picked in the side as openers. The middle-order shall comprise of Azhar Ali, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Asad Shafiq and wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed.

Pakistan’s bowling line shall include Yasir Shah, Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Rahat Ali and Imran Khan.

Earlier in the day, skipper Misbah and English captain Alastair Cook displayed the trophy for the Test series.

While addressing the media, Pakistani skipper said that the English middle-order batsmen were out of form and shall be easy targets for the Pakistani bowlers.
