Sethi unable to meet PM and present report
Najam Sethi waited several hours at the PM House to meet Nawaz but the meeting never went underway
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Executive Board Najam Sethi was unable to meet Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and present him the report containing the details of the team’s performance in recent tournaments despite waiting for several hours at the PM House, reported Dunya News.
Sethi reached PM House to present the report to the Prime Minister containing reasons behind the Pakistani team’s dismal performance in the Asia Cup 2016 and the ICC World T20 2016. Despite waiting for several hours, Sethi was unable to meet the PM.
Sources indicate that Sethi’s meeting with the Prime Minister was not scheduled thus he was not able to meet and present the report to Nawaz Sharif.
PM has decided to go through the reports made by PCB authorities based on the team’s performance and then meet officials, including Waqar Younis and others.
