Shahid Afridi arrives in Karachi after World T20 elimination
Afridi had already been called on by PCB inquiry committee to record his stance over WT20 exit.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Twenty20 captain Shahid Afridi on Monday has arrived in Karachi after WT20 exit.
The cricket fans while holding placards warmly welcomed the captain while some of them also expressed anger by chanting slogans at the airport.
He stayed in Dubai and reached the country after two days of team’s arrival.
On the other hand, the inquiry committee formed over the worst performance of green shirts has already called on Afridi to listen his stance.
Pakistan finished their campaign with three defeats from four outings, including a loss at the hands of arch foes India in Kolkata.
They only managed to win two matches in the Asia Cup.
Shahid Afridi had also hinted towards his retirement during the tournament but he refrained to comment as he only wanted to announce this in front of Pakistani nation.
