Asia cup, World T20 crucial than retirement: Afridi
T20 skipper says that he is not thinking about retirement as of now, entire focus on Asia cup
DHAKA (Web Desk) – Captain of Pakistan’s T20 side Shahid Afridi while addressing to the media on Friday stated that he prioritizes the Asia cup and World T20 over his retirement, reported Dunya news.
Afridi said that he has not made any decision regarding his retirement from the T20 format after the conclusion of the World T20. He further added that cricket among India and Pakistan needs not be politicized as the people on both sides of the borders want to see their stars in action on the field.
He also said that he shall make his best effort to amuse his fans by reviving his signature ‘Boom Boom’ playing form during the Asia cup.
