146 APS students all set to leave for Dubai to watch PSL matches

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – As many as 146 students of Army Public School (APS) are all set to leave for Dubai along with star player and Twenty20 captain Shahid Afridi to watch Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, the students will be departed for Dubai today (Thursday) on a chartered plane of Shaheen Airlines due to ongoing protest of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees and wil return country on February 8.

The young cricket lovers, adorning Peshawar Zalmi’s kits, would support Shahid Afridi during PSL.



On this occasion, Afridi also distributed cricket accessories among the students and took selfies with them. 



Featuring 69 local and 29 foreign stars, the five-team, 24-match league will be held From February 4 - 23 across two stadiums in Sharjah and Dubai.

The first match will be played between Islamabad United under Misbah-ul Haq’s captaincy and Quetta Gladiators. Spinner Saeed Ajmal will be seen swinging from Quetta side.

Earlier, Shahid Afridi while showing solidarity with APS students visited school and stated that he is going to start Talent Hunt Program to support the youngsters.
