Summary OGRA has reduced LNG prices for September by more than 21%, with the rate for the Sui Northern system falling by $3.83 and the Sui Southern system by $3.91 per MMBtu.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a significant reduction in liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices for September.
According to the notification issued by OGRA, LNG prices have been reduced by more than 21%, with the reduction reaching $3.91 per million British thermal units (MMBtu).
For the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd. (SNGPL) system, the LNG price has been reduced by $3.83 per MMBtu, bringing the new price to $15.19 per MMBtu.
Meanwhile, the LNG price for the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) system has been cut by $3.91 per MMBtu.
Following the reduction, the new LNG price for the Sui Southern system has been set at $14.22 per MMBtu.
The revised prices apply for September, according to OGRA's notification.
