KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices surged in Pakistan on Friday, with the price of 24-karat gold rising by Rs5,200 per tola amid an increase in international bullion rates.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, 24-karat gold reached Rs477,136 per tola, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs4,458 to Rs409,067.
Silver prices also moved higher, with 24-karat silver gaining Rs210 per tola to reach Rs7,379.
In the international market, gold rose by $52 per ounce to $4,547.
The rise in global bullion prices was reflected in Pakistan’s local market, pushing both gold and silver rates higher.
