Pakistani rupee strengthens as interbank dollar rate declines

KARACHI (Dunya News) — The Pakistani rupee strengthened against the U.S. dollar in the interbank market on Thursday, reflecting continued positive momentum in the local currency.

Traders reported that the dollar fell by three paisa, closing at Rs279.77, compared with Rs279.80 recorded in the previous session.

Analysts said the marginal decline indicates steady demand for the rupee amid ongoing foreign exchange market stability, though they noted that broader economic factors could influence the currency in the coming days.
