The government has kept petrol and diesel prices unchanged for the next 15 days, maintaining current rates after an earlier cut at the start of January.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The government has decided to keep petroleum prices unchanged for the next 15 days, holding the line on fuel rates amid market expectations of further relief.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol will remain at Rs253.17 per litre, while high-speed diesel will continue to be sold at Rs257.08 per litre.
The move follows a cut announced on January 1, when petrol was reduced by Rs10.28 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs8.57 per litre.
Officials said the decision aims to keep things steady in the fuel market, even as consumers keep a close eye on global oil trends.
