KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend for the second consecutive day.

In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $12, settling at $4,207. Following the global decline, the domestic market also saw a drop, with the per tola rate of gold decreasing by PKR 1,200 to PKR 440,662. Similarly, the price of ten grams of gold fell by PKR 1,029, reaching PKR 377,796.

Market analysts attribute the decline to fluctuations in the international gold market and reduced demand locally. Investors and traders are advised to monitor trends closely before making purchases or sales, as global factors continue to influence domestic rates.

Silver prices, however, remained stable, with per tola and per ten grams rates unchanged at PKR 6,102 and PKR 5,231 respectively.
