Petroleum prices likely to be cut by up to Rs10

New prices will come into effect from July 1

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Wednesday recommended up to Rs10 per litre reduction in the price of major petroleum products.

Ogra suggested reducing the price of petrol and diesel by Rs10 per litre, respectively. Sources divulged that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will make the ultimate decision after consulting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

There was also a chance of price maintenance, the sources added.

The new prices will come into effect from July 1.
