Dollar price increases in interbank market by 16 paisa to touch Rs287.35
LAHORE (Web Desk) - Pakistani rupee has witnessed a surge against the US dollar in the open currency market.
The upward movement of the rupee is being attributed to various factors including upward tendency in the exports, rise in the foreign remittances and a slight improvement in the economic conditions.
The currency dealers reported that the dollar price had increased in the interbank market by 16 paisa to touch Rs287.35.
The rupee has been witnessing a significant rise in the value over the past few days.
