District administration fails in implementing government rate list
LAHORE (Dunya News) - In the provincial capital the prices of flour and broiler meat have started declining.
According to market sources, the price of broiler meat has decreased by Rs100 in two days due to which the price has reached to Rs471 per kg.
Sources said that the price of 15 kg commercial flour bag was reduced from Rs2,100 to Rs1,750 but the price of mill flour could not be reduced.
On the other hand, the price of eggs in Lahore remains unchanged at Rs289 per dozen while goat meat is being sold at Rs1800 and beef at Rs1100 per kg.
There are complaints from the citizens that the district administration has failed to implement the government rate list and different rates were applicable in some areas.
