NEPRA okays 8 paisa hike in power tariff
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The National Electric Power Authority (NEPRA) on Tuesday approved a hike in the power tariff by 8 paisa per unit on account of the monthly fuel adjustment (MFA) for September 2022.
According to the notification issued by the NEPRA, the power tariff was hiked on account of September fuel charges.
The price hike in power tariff will only be applicable on November bills, while the decision will not be applicable to K-electric consumers, as NEPRA’s notification further stated.
