Collection of 600 billion rupees has been made during the month of December only: Farrukh

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib says the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has witnessed record tax collections of 2920 billion rupees with 32 percent increase in the second quarter of the current financial.

In a tweet on Saturday, he said that this collection is a reflection of increasing economic activities in the country.

He said the FBR has collected additional 287 billion rupees as the target was 2633 billion rupees during the period.

He said a collection of 600 billion rupees has been made during the month of December only.
