The KSE-100 index has crossed 48,000 mark

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Stock Exchange opened higher on Tuesday with the KSE-100 Index adding over 300 points and reaching about 4-year high.

According to details, the KSE-100 index has crossed 48,000 mark which is the highest level in the past 4 years.

Economic growth of about 4 percent and reduction in coronavirus cases across the country have contributed to the confidence of the investors.

Earlier on Monday, KSE-100 index closed the session at 47,896 level, after gaining 770 points or up by 1.63% compared to the previous trading, mainly attributable to the unchanged interest rate 7% by State Bank of Pakistan for the next two months.
