PM expresses satisfaction for sustained industrial growth
The Prime Minister said the cumulative growth from July to December last year is above 8% now
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Imran Khan says the industrial sector is showing sustained growth, which is good news.
In a facebook post today (Sunday), he said large scale manufacturing saw another double digit growth of 11.4 percent in December last year as compared to the same month previous year.
The Prime Minister said the cumulative growth from July to December last year is above eight percent now.
Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Imran Khan commended FBR Field Formations on achieving 7-months revenue targets by undertaking bold tax audit and enforcement, and counter-smuggling measures.
In a tweet, he said they must continue working with honesty and commitment. He also commended the FBR Head office Team for developing the IT-enabled Transformation Plan and procuring cutting-edge Track and Trace System.
The Prime Minister said once fully functional in July 2021, it would add 100s of billions of additional revenue, curb counterfeiting and help establish rule of law.
