US dollar slides to lowest level in 5 months

KARACHI (Dunya News) - The US Dollar in interbank declined to its lowest level in five months after a fall of 31 paisa on Thursday.

As per details, the greenback closed at Rs161.82. Since its high of 168.43 rupees on August 26, the dollar has fallen by 6.61 rupees.

The devaluation of the USD will ease pressure of debt payment of Pakistan by 725 billion rupees.
