PSX gains 644.39 points, closes above 40,000 level
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bullish trend on Tuesday as KSE-100 gained 644.39 points and crossed the 40,000 point mark, with investors earning over a trillion rupees in profits.
The day began with a positive trend as the index gained 238.79 points within 2 hours of opening business, crossing the 40,000 point barrier it fell below yesterday.
At the end of the day, the index closed at 40,559.15 recording an increase of 1.61% with 401,597,409 shares being traded.
