Gold price rises by Rs 700 per Tola
Investors were keenly interested in buying gold instead of dollars: Experts
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold price has observed an increase of USD 24 in the international market which made it up to USD 1305 per ounce while with respect to international rise in gold price, same increase has also been observed in local market, reported Dunya News on Thursday.
According to All Pakistan Sarafa Association, new gold price has risen to Rs 49,800 with an increase of Rs 700 on each tola while 10 grams of gold costs Rs 42,658 with a rise of Rs 596.
Economic experts believed that investors were interested in buying gold instead of dollars as interest rates remained unchanged.
