Karachi: Dollar, gold rates increase
New dollar rate is 105 rupees and 24 paisas after it increased by 84 paisas.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Dollar rate increased by Rs 0.84 in inter-bank market on Tuesday that set dollar rate on 105.24 , Dunya News reported.
According to the experts, the boost in dollar rate will benefit exporters but public will suffer from increased inflation. It is also being predicted that the rates of import goods like petroleum, cooking oil and other commodities will also increase. On the other hand the dollar is available for public on a rate of 105 rupees and 40 paisas.
The price of gold is also increased by 100 rupees and the new rate of one Tola gold is 47,000. The new price of 10 gram gold is 40,285 rupees with increase of 85 rupees.
