G-8 leaders meeting announced a $15 billion pledge to help poor countries fight food dearth. 8 developed countries and 19 participating countries in summit, agreed to take emergency steps to help farmers and elude them from expected famine. Other countries supposed to take steps as well. G-8 leaders decided to end the afflux to aid in Africa and third worlds poor countries and preferring the food issues, plans to explicate the food issues should be supported.
