Iranian Ambassador in Pakistan Mashallah Shakeri has said that statements issued by the west on protests in Iran are excruciating. He said that the United States has spent 400 million dollars to create mayhem in Iran. Addressing a press conference at National Press Club Islamabad Iranian Ambassador Mashallah Shakeri said Mujahideen-e-Khalq and CIA tried to ignite riots in the country by distributing handbills and wall chalking. Protests on election results are Irans internal matter. The Guardian Council can handle this issue. If the matter could not be resolved, Irans judiciary is sovereign and strong enough to resolve the issue.
