Shawwal moon sighted in Saudi Arabia, Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday

RIYADH (Dunya News) - Shawwal moon has been sighted in Saudia Arabia and Eid-ul-Fitr will be observed on Tuesday 4th June 2019, the Saudi Supreme Court has announced.
The month of Ramadan will end tonight with 29 fasts in Arab world.This year Ramadan began on the evening of Sunday May 5 in Saudia Arabia.
Earlier, the Saudi Supreme Court urged citizens to participate in the moon sighting efforts - with their eyes or binocular - and report their testimonies to the nearest court.
Moon-sighting committees in Bahrain, UAE and other Gulf countries also met to decide the Shawwal moon.
Indonesia and Malaysia have declared Wednesday June 5 as the first day of Eid Al Fitr.
