DAMASCUS (Web Desk) - A nine-month-old baby girl Dalal was mercilessly killed from tha fatal fangs of her own father.
The brutal incident which took place on April 24 was first of its kind and has shocked the residents of Jaramana in Damascus. The 37-year-old man Ziad Suleiman has many times confessed before his wife that he hates girls and prefers boys over them.
On the day of murder, the child’s mother asked Ziad to hand the baby back to her after observing his evil behaviour and sensing that her daughter was in imminent danger.
However; Ziad refused after which his wife went to sought the help of her parents but found no one there. She then approached her neighbours and asked for their aid who comforted her by saying that no father can harm his child.
The worried mother ran back to her home and found the child dead with bruises all over her body. The child was shifted to hospital for post-mortem whereas the father later confessed to police that he had committed the crime alone.
