KARACHI (Dunya News) -- IG Sindh issued orders to demote 18 police officers on Thursday. On the recommendations of Apex committee, officers have been demoted including SHOs, reported Dunya News.
IG Sindh Ghulam Haider has issued orders to demote 18 officers, a decision which has been also recommended by Apex committee as well. Officers removed include Amanullah Marwat, Qalandar Buksh, Irfan Mao. Qalandar Baksh was found selling large quantities of marijuana while SHO Irfan Mayo was involved in the sale of raw alcohol.
Other demoted SHOs include Nasir Mahmood, Tanveer Murad, Nadeem Tanoli, Ghulam Rasool and Muhammad Mithal.
