Twelve people were killed in a bus crash in South Ossetia on Sunday.The accident happened on the Trans-Caucasian mountain road not far from the Roki Tunnel which connects Russia's North Ossetia with the Georgian breakaway region of South Ossetia. Two of the dead were children and the bus was reportedly carrying twenty three passengers. Rescue workers from both North and South Ossetia helped at the crash site. A spokeswoman with the Interior Ministry in the Russian republic of North Ossetia told that according to preliminary information, the bus had gone off a cliff after a truck moving in the opposite direction suddenly left its lane and collided with the bus.
