Pakistan was indeed one of Germany’s creditors by 1953 along with Egypt, Greece, Spain, US, UK and France. Half of Germany’s debt was cancelled in an agreement that was reached in London in August 1953.
After Greeks rejected the bailout plan, eurozone leaders are set to meet in an emergency summit in Brussels. Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras after taking the political leadership of the country in confidence has left for Brussels where he will present new proposals.
The French Prime Minister Manuel Valls, however, has emphasized to doing whatever it takes to keep Greece in the eurozone.
