China: 42 dead, 36 missing in rains, flood

Heavy downpour accompanied by lightning storms and gusty winds wreaked havoc across Beijing, the Chinese capital on Thursday, went missing in the flash floods and hundreds have been injured. Hundreds of flights in and out of the country were either cancelled or delayed due to heavy rains. Beijing's Capital Airport informed that 96 flights were cancelled and another 299 got delayed due to bad weather. The summer storms also affected the traffic, resulted with huge jams on Beijing highways. Weather authorities predicted that the rain would continue for several days.
