High-ranking Palestinian council member Mohammed Abu Tair was released from prison on Thursday, after serving four years. Abu Tair was transferred from Nafha prison early in the morning to the police station at the Russian compound in Jerusalem, before travelling to his home in Sur Baher, a neighbourhood in east Jerusalem.
