Syria, Iran providing Hizbollah with rockets and missiles: Gates

US Defense Secretary Robert Gates accused Iran and Syria of helping to arm Hizbollah with increasingly sophisticated rockets and missilesGates was holding a joint news conference with his Israeli counterpart Ehud Barak where he said 'Syria and Iran are providing Hizbollah with rockets and missiles of ever-increasing capability.'Gates warned that Hizbollah has far more rockets and missiles than most governments in the world, he added that these weapons would obviously destabilize the whole region however he said that the US was monitoring the situation very closely.It is pertinent to mention that Damascus has vehemently rejected the charge.
