New ash cloud, travelers warned of further delays

The volcano eruption in Iceland has strengthened and a new ash cloud is spreading south and east towards the UK. Thousands of passengers across England have faced severe disruption since Thursday.The volcanic eruption in Iceland had abated for a time on Monday morning, but the Met Office said on Monday afternoon the ash emissions had increased once again. The EU has moved to ease air travel curbs imposed after much of Europe's airspace was shut because of the spread of volcanic ash from Iceland.
