US military investigation reveals that the US helicopters involved in a 2007 attack in Baghdad that killed score of people had acted in accordance with both the laws of war and the Armys rules. In response, US Central Command released a heavily redacted, unclassified version of its own probe into the incident. Two foreign journalists were also among the victims. It was clearly evident from the video which shows a group of unarmed civilians walking through a courtyard, not engaged in hostile activity. The group did nothing to call fire down upon itself. Human rights group have severely criticized the irresponsible act of the US forces.
