Former US Vice President is being evaluated at the George Washington University hospital Monday after experiencing chest pains.Doctors say he is in stable condition but may stay till Tuesday for more tests and evaluations. He spoke to attendees at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference on Feb. 18. Cheney has had a long history of heart problems. He has suffered four heart attacks, starting when he was 37 years old. He has had quadruple bypass surgery and two artery-clearing angioplasties. In 2001, he had a special pacemaker implanted in his chest. The pacemaker's battery was replaced in 2007, and then the entire device was replaced. In 2007 he also had an abnormal heart rhythm and an electric shock was given to restore a normal rhythm.
