In the shadow of the pressure exerted by Beijing, Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama left for his 10-day US tour during which he is scheduled to meet US President Barack Obama. The Dalai Lama left in the afternoon on a chartered flight from Gagal airport near Dharamshala in Kangra, said Tenzin Talkha, joint secretary of the Dalai Lamas office.
