Next few months in Afghanistan crucial, says Brown

Expressing satisfaction on new Afghan Policy, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said that next few months would be critical. Brown, who arrived in Afghanistan on an unannounced visit, was received by Afghan President Karzai at Qandahar military airbase.In a joint press conference with President Hamid Karzai, Brown said that NATO and Afghan governments collaborated efforts could tighten the noose around al-Qaeda and defeat Taliban in Afghanistan.
