US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen says that it will take 1.5 to two years to crush the rebellion in Afghanistan. He told that Al Qaeda is planning 9/11 like attacks. Addressing to the soldiers of Afghan Mission Mullen said that incidents of violence had increased in Afghanistan in the past three years, adding that sending 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan aimed at bringing violence down. He told that new strategy was not limited to Afghanistan but it extended to Pakistan, India and Central Asian countries.
