Mexico City's majestic main Zocalo square has again been turned into a massive winter wonderland. For the third year running, Mexico City has opened what it says to be the largest ice rink in the world for the entertainment of thousands of Mexican families this Christmas season. The ice rink measuring 61 metres (200 feet) in length by 31 metres (101 feet) in width with a capacity for 400 people was inaugurated in the middle of Mexico City. During the inauguration, ice skaters graced the rink and fireworks lit the sky.
