Protesters rally as Obama arrives in South Korea

South Korea's anti-US protesters staged a rally on Wednesday against the Afghanistan war, as the United States president Barack Obama arrived in the country. About 100 protesters holding anti-war placards with Obama's photos on and candle-lights gathered in downtown Seoul to denounce the government's decision to send its troops to Afghanistan. The protest is linked to US President Barack Obama's visit to the country. The protesters urged Obama to stop the war.The protesters marched on the streets chanting anti- war slogans. Eventually the police blocked them. Some of the protesters were forcibly taken away by the police.
