Suspected Maoist rebels killed three activists of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) which is heading the Left Front, ruling the eastern state of West Bengal. The three CPI-M activists were found murdered at Binpur village in West Medinipur district and reportedly they were killed in the wee hours of the intervening night between Friday (October 6) and Saturday (October 7).Maoists have stepped up violence across eastern and central India and internal security experts say it indicates a growing dominance of the insurgents in the state.
