Gunmen believed to be engaged in a drugs feud burst into a bar in the violence-plagued northern Mexican city of Ciudad Juarez and shot dead six people, including a US soldier; where as several others were injured. The hooded gunmen opened fire with assault rifles at the Amadeus strip bar near El Paso. The killings were believed related to a feud between gangs jockeying over drug smuggling routes into the United States. A colleague of the US soldier was also injured in the incident. He was transferred to a hospital in El Paso after receiving initial treatment for bullet wounds in Ciudad Juarez.
