Afghan anti-U.S. protesters continued to protest on Tuesday accusing foreign troops of burning a copy of Islam's Holiest Book, the Quran.University students from the northern city of Mazar-I Sharif tied green head bands on their foreheads and marched out of their school carrying banners and an effigy of U.S. President Barack Obama. They accused American troops of burning the Quran during a raid in Maidan Wardak province last week. U.S. and NATO representatives have denied this. Today we practically see American invader forces not respecting our Islamic values. They don't have compassion for our innocent children, and women. They don't respect our mosques and they don't respect our prophet Mohammad, said Jamaluddin Khan, a university student.The students went on to burnt an effigy of President Barack Obama while shouting anti-U.S. slogans such as death to America.
