Summary
The US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has given up the plan to deploy new military brigade in Iraq for improving the law and order situation. Some 3,500 soldiers had to replace the brigade which will come back from Iraq in January. The brigade might be sent to Afghanistan, however, the final decision in this regard hasnt been taken yet.
