Summary Two Gazans were killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Palestinian territory.
Gazas Hamas rulers reported in a text message to reporters that one of the men was a member of the groups military wing. The Popular Resistance Committees said in an e-mail that the second man was from its ranks.The Israeli military confirmed a strike on Monday but had no further details.The attack followed an air attack earlier in the day that the military said was carried out in response to mortar fire at a military patrol in northern Gaza. No casualties were reported in that attack.
