Summary
Honduras' de facto government and ousted President Manuel Zelaya agreed to open talks next week on resolving the political crisis triggered by a June coup, an OAS envoy said. There is going to be a call to dialogue, John Biehl, an envoy for the Organization of American States, told reporters. For now, there will not be a direct meeting between Zelaya and the de facto president Roberto Micheletti, he said. Biehl said talks could begin before the arrival here on October 7 of a delegation of regional foreign ministers and OAS Secretary General Jose Miguel Insulza, who would be invited to attend a follow-up session.
