Summary At least 12 Taliban militants and 2 Pakistani nationals were killed in Afghanistan on Wednesday.
Twelve armed Taliban insurgents including a commander and 2 Pakistani nationals were killed in Maidan-Wardak province, according to Afghan media reports.It is said these militias were killed in a joint operation of Afghan and foreign forces in the outskirts of Maidan-Shaher.Shahidullah Shahid spokesman of Maidan-Wardak province said to BNA, operation was conducted by Afghan and foreign forces in Mullkhail, Charki, Kohnakhomar and Kota Asher areas of Maidan Shaher, in which 12 armed Taliban were killed, 5 others were wounded.According to the source, in this operation, Rohullah a senior commander of Taliban with 2 Pakistani nations was killed, a quantity of arms of Taliban were seized by Afghan security force.Shahid added 5 national army soldiers were wounded and after transferring to Hospital, the health conditions of them called satisfactory.
