Summary
Afghan presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah has termed Hamid Karzais success in Afghan Poll a conspiracy. Talking to media in Kabul, Abdullah maintained the election results were not surprising for him as Election Commission and Chief Election Commissioner were working under presidency. Karzai is re-elected under a conspiracy, Abdullah claimed. He opined that independent election commission was a fraud, adding that a mass scale rigging took place in elections which was a worse joke with Afghan people. Earlier, President Karzai surpassed for the first time the 50 percent threshold needed to avoid a run-off in Afghanistan's presidential election on Tuesday. However, more than 720 major fraud charges have been lodged with the complaints commission.
