US Central Command Chief Admiral Mike Mullen says that Talibans activities are increasing with the passage of time and their strategy has also been improved during last few years. Speaking in Meet the Press, a program of NBC, Mullen opined that situation in Afghanistan was quite bad and the conditions were going from bad to worse. Mullen revealed that Al-Qaeda still contained financial resources to train attackers. He stressed that U.S army should ensure its soil isnt attacked again. He believed that Al-Qaedas support existed in Pakistan and Afghanistan and it was gaining popularity. He maintained that war on terror in Afghanistan had become essential gradually.
