Summary 16 Taliban were killed in Afghanistan during military raids, interior ministry said Tuesday.
Raids were carried out in nearly a dozen provinces including Kabul, Helmand, and Kandahar. At least 20 other militants were detained. The fatalities occurred in the past 24 hours till Tuesday noon, Xinhua reported. A huge cache of weapons was also seized.
